eCommerce and Marketing Assistant

Role purpose - The position of eCommerce and Marketing Assistant for Holland Cooper will be responsible for help develop and implement the company’s social media and online content. Working under the Head of eCom and Marketing to develop brand awareness, ensure the visual aspects of the website are perfect alongside generating inbound traffic, consumer conversations and encouraging product adoption. This role co-ordinates with the internal Digital Marketing, customer service and brand teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating an online community.
Key accountabilities & Key metrics – Website Visual Merchandising, shared responsibility that website targets are hit, growing social Channel’s and online consumer communication through social channels.
•Ensure appropriate voice and tone and Holland Cooper values are represented in communication and interaction with customers via all channels and that communities are actively managed through increased interaction with customers
•Review performance data across channels and track bottom/top performing content in terms of reach and engagement and can amend content accordingly
• increase followers and curation of social media channels
•Work with other departments to support delivery of campaigns, product activity and non- campaign activity.
•Ensure regular proactive ideation to show that we are ‘open for business’ at all times and proactively delivering opportunities for brands to be brought to life via Social Media.
•Experience of working seamlessly on a Shopify Plus platform, developing the website to the next level alongside Head of eCom and Marketing.
Specifically you will have :
•Advanced computer skills, including a high proficiency in social media CMS tools such as ConverSocial, Hootsuite, Radian6 ( or similar relevant platforms)must have previous experience using Magento platforms and a sound understanding of this. Photoshop and Illustrator would be a welcome bonus.

An exciting new opportunity leading our in house production and sourcing has come up in Holland Cooper. The full time role works closely with the brand designer to develop, sample and run the production and sourcing of each range,
Partner with Merchandise Planning to establish the seasonal buy schedules; developing manufacturing plans, critical path and strategies that meet margin, quality and delivery goals. Work cross functionally to ensure departmental Calendar Milestones are achieved and executed on-time. Work with the Head of Merchandising to develop and manage the production schedule to support capacity plans, reduce lead-times and minimise surcharges and excess materials. Manage a growing team of 3-5 and seasonal freelancers during peak periods. Day-to-day communication with factories mostly in the UK along with Europe and the Far East with the timely review of factory Work-In-Process (WIP) reports, maintaining systems and communication of WIP status. Ensure all Purchase Orders are entered accurately onto Zedonk. Actively manage supplier relationships to ensure all suppliers meet and maintain capacity, delivery, quality and margin expectations. Ensure all suppliers have agreed terms and conditions and will accept or move towards standard payment terms.
Manage all vendor negotiations in a way that builds partnerships while resulting in the best possible prices. Negotiate and confirm prices, quantities and delivery dates with all manufacturers in writing. Sourcing of new factories as well as maintaining consistent performance with existing factories. Drive the seasonal costing process, establish fair costing targets and manage final purchase price negotiations with factories. Control quality standards to ensure all orders arrive from the factory defect free. Deal with any faulty garments by requesting repair or discount where appropriate. Ensure that goods of poor quality are not sent to customers where practical. Obtain discounts where appropriate for late or faulty garments or fabric. Proactively work with the Fabric Developer and Product Developer on minimums, sourcing and any potential quality issues with fabric and trim selections. Ensure all raw materials are delivered to the factories on time and meet expected quality standards. Ensure all garments are sealed in line with the critical path. Ensure complete and timely handover of production packs from Product Development. Mitigate against any delays and communicate any unavoidable delays in production to the Management team and Head of Merchandising. Conduct weekly production meetings updating the production schedule weekly to ensure all delays are communicated and resolved wherever possible. Carry out quality control and size sample checks on all goods with each factory. Conduct a seasonal audit on all raw materials and finished goods suppliers.
