Drapers 30 Under 30

Jade Holland Cooper, Managing Director and Founder of Holland Cooper Clothing has been named one of Draper magazines 30 under 30 rising stars. The annual awards comprises of Britain’s most exciting talent within the fashion industry, ranging from Buyers to Machinists.

The accolade comes in Holland Cooper’s fifth year of business, after having successfully secured accounts in luxury high-end stores such as Harrods.

On her exciting nomination, Jade said: “This is a very proud industry moment for me. Recognition from Drapers magazine is something you aim for when starting a fashion business, and to have achieved that at 27 is a real reward for all the hard work.”

The nomination comes as no surprise to Greg Tufnell, business advisor for Holland Cooper and former Managing Director of Burton, Mothercare and Boxfresh.

“A typical week would involve Jade loading her van with stock for a show, setting up the pop-up, staffing the show and [blogging].  Then it would be phone calls to suppliers and customers followed by marking out and cutting fabrics ready for manufacture”

She is a credit to her business and to her brand.”

Jade will be recognised in a Drapers award ceremony in January.
