It’s that time of year again! With our wonderful a/w placement students coming to the end of their term here, we are now recruiting the next lucky team of grads & students.
We have three vacancies available in our exciting internship scheme. The scheme offers a huge range of hands-on experience for individuals wanting to improve and gain knowledge in their chosen fields. With fashion being one of the most sought after industries the world over; experience in the work place has become invaluable in landing that dream job. Previous interns have left us with shining references for future jobs and courses whilst some interns have landed themselves a full time job at Holland Cooper.
Spaces available include Sales & Marketing intern, Office intern and Creative & Production Intern.
Sales and Marketing Intern
This individual will work alongside our head of sales & marketing. This varied role will include everything from brainstorming campaigns to processing sales, updating the website content to communicating with thousands of HC fans using our online marketing tools.
You will be involved in Holland Cooper’s marketing and communication every step of the way to meet weekly sale targets. With every HC campaign new and exciting you will also have the opportunity to attend fashion shows, photo shoots & more.
This person must be friendly and confident with a good focused work ethic ready to work within a fast paced team.
You will take away from this internship the ability to multi-task, meet sales target, design & develop website content, as well as brainstorming & implementing marketing campaigns. This will not only shine on your CV but will also add to the portfolio of projects you have been involved in. This internship offers the chance of great achievements.
Office/ IT Intern
This role will include all aspects of the running of a busy fashion studio. You will have the opportunity to work alongside production, sales & marketing teams. This internship is great if you are unsure which area of fashion you would like to pursue as this position offers you a taste of everything.
You will assist with the management of phone calls where you will establish relationships with everyone from suppliers to wholesalers, customers to press. You will be heavily involved with the promotion of Holland Cooper. You will also update the website content, prepare orders for shipment, aide production with the finishing of garments.
This person must be friendly and confident with an adaptable work ethic and be ready to work within a fast paced team.
You will take away from this internship the ability to multi-task, design & develop website content, promote a strong and growing brand along with practical production skills essential for the making of any garment. This will not only shine on your CV but will also add to the portfolio of projects you have been involved in. This internship offers the chance of great achievements.
Creative & Production Intern
This individual will work alongside the head of production. You will be taught in depth cutting skills and how to use an embroidery machine. You will learn the initial process of the production of all our tweed wear lines and the complete production of sportswear.
You do not need a fashion degree to apply for this role, however you must be willing to learn, an interest in textiles and production would be beneficial. This person must be organised, thorough and have an eye for detail.
The schemes are open to students & graduates, they are an ideal way to add work experience to your gap year or provide crucial experience in acquiring an industry job. All of these positions are for a minimum of 4 – 5 months with varying start dates; we do also offer 1 year placements as part of your university degree.
The scheme offers travel expenses. Upon completion of the scheme job opportunities may be available, if not you are sure to leave with a shining reference to aide you with future employment.
Our studio is based in Elmsett Suffolk, so candidates must be able to drive and live within a 1 hour distance from us. If you are interested but live further away we can recommend accommodation for the time you will spend with us.
